My name is Johnson and I hail from Guruvayoor. My family consists of myself, my wife Omana and our two children. My eldest daughter Riya is studying in 3rd standard and my son Abin in 5 ½ years old. I am a painter by profession. My wife does not have any job. Three years back our son suffered from kidney problem and was taken to couple of hospitals for treatment. There was no relief in his symptoms and so last year we bought him to this hospital. He was admitted for a month and was under medication. He got relief after taking the medication. At that time Amma provided Rs. 5000 as treatment help. Again in April he fell ill and was in the hospital for almost a month. He underwent dialysis fourteen times. He was in MICU for eighteen days. All this came to a huge amount of Rs. 1 lakh. Coming from a very poor background, there was no way we could afford such a huge amount. Our house is on debt. So Amma provided Rs. 105006 as treatment help. We are immensely grateful to Amma for this great help. We will always remember Amma in our prayers. We got very good treatment from this hospital. All the doctors, nurses and other staff were very loving. I give consent to publish my son’s photograph along with this letter in Amma’s publication. When he was in MICU we were able to buy the medicines only with the help of our neighbors. We have borrowed money from a lot of people. It is going to be very difficult to pay them back. After getting treated here, our son is doing much better. We will forever be indebted to Amma for all the treatment help and will always pray for Her. We really wish to see Amma in person sometime. My Dearest AMMA

I am from Mavelikara and I live in a rented house with my wife and two children. I work as a driver and we live on the small amount I get as wages. Two years ago, I had a heart attack and the doctors told a surgery was needed. Knowing this we came to AIMS and consulted with the doctors. The doctors of Amrita hospital did an angiogram, and then suggested surgery as well.

As we are financially setback, we approached the patient service department and gave the application for the treatment help. People from Ashram came to our house and enquired about us. We got the concession and the surgery was done. We received the financial aid of Rs.27,222/-. For the service they gave us, I am thankful to Amma. The doctor and staffs were very co-operative and supportive and we had not seen such a good behavior from the staff of any other hospitals. I am from Malabar district, Nilambur taluk. For the past 24 years, my wife Safiya has been having a problem with her heart valve. My name is Samkutty. I am working as a coolie and we are in a very bad financial situation. We do not have a house or property of our own. My family consists of my wife, and two daughters. My younger daughter Anujamol is only 10 months old and from her birth onwards she has had a problem with her heart. We had shown her in the nearby hospital and the doctors told us she needed a surgery. We do not have the financial ability to spend huge amount for the surgery. I had tried a lot to arrange the amount, but we cannot arrange the amount. We did not find any way to arrange the
amount.

When we said our difficulties to doctors, they told us about AIMS and

The people from Ashram visited our house and understood our situation and gave a letter to give to the patient service department.
