My name is Surendran. I am writing this letter on behalf of my sister’s 13 year old daughter Prajina. We hail from a place called Alencheri in Kannoor district. There are six members in their family. They are her father, mother and their four children. Since they come from a very poor financial background, they could not afford Prajina’s surgery during her childhood. Prajina is their third daughter and is studying in 8th standard. She is a heart patient and is unable to run or jump or even walk long distances. One of the local doctors asked us to come here. After coming here, we spoke to patient services staff and got help. Since she had grown up, the doctors said that it wasn’t possible to perform any surgery. We are greatly thankful to all the doctors who explained to us in detail about her problem. Medical science could not do anything to save her and the only way for her to survive would be God’s grace. We hope that Amma’s prayers and blessings be with her always. All the staff in the hospital were very loving towards us. We received Rs. 10440 from Amma’s charity. Our whole family is thankful to Amma and everyone for all the help. The doctors have asked her to be on medication for the next three months and to consult them after that. We hope that Amma’s prayers with Prajina always. I give full consent to publish Prajina’s photograph along with this letter in Amma’s publication.
