To Amma

I am from Shuranaad at Kollam district. We got admitted here for tonsillectomy of my daughter. Due to severe debt and lack of permanent job for my husband, we have severe economic problems. Hence we consulted a doctor at Vallikavu and reached here with Kasturi Ammas letter. We are very much obliged to Amma, as a surgery worth Rs.12,479 was done absolutely free for us in AIMS. Since we do not have our own house, we are staying along with relatives at a common house. We have two daughters. My father and mother are also staying with us. All the staff of this hospital are very kind and co-operative. Even though the treatment was free for us, there were no discrimination from their part. It was through Amma we got this help and we are always obliged to Amma for this.From childhood onwards my child was not physically well. We consulted a doctor at Kayankulam and he told us that, a surgery was to be done. It was to seek for any other alternative, other than surgery we reached Ammas hospital. But here too, doctors instructed for an immediate surgery. However here we received all sought of help. After operation my child is all right now.
