My name is Shaji and I am from Pattimatham Village, ChegaraKara. I live with my wife and 2 children. My elder daughter’s name is Anaka who is studying in the 1st standard and my younger daughter is Aparna who is not doing well. From her birth onwards, she has been sick. She had a hole in her heart walls and valve and she is frequently affected with cough and cold for the past 4 months. We went to another hospital and her symptoms were not relieved. Then we came to the Amrita hospital and the doctors told us about the condition of her heart. Doctor’s recommended for a surgery and also told us that the operation will cost a lot of rupees. Understanding our problem the doctors told us to give the application in the patient service department. We gave the application for treatment help.

They understood that we are financially very poor. People from the hospital came to our house and saw our situation. They understood that we are eligible for the treatment help and provided the help. With the grace of Amma we got the financial help worth Rs.96,030/- . The behavior of the doctors and staffs of the hospital are very much pleasing and kind. We are thankful to Amma for Her help and service and we are praying for Her blessings. We pray that Amma would help all the poor people who are in such a poor condition.
