Aum Namah Shivaya

To Amma,

My name is Usha Raju and I live with my 2 daughters and husband's mother. We are staying in Kottayam district, Akkalakunnu Panchayat, Mattakara. My daughter, Reshmi, has a heart problem which we came to know about when she was one and a half years old. Through tests we found that she has a hole in her heart and a surgery is required. The doctors also said that the surgery must be done before she becomes 10 years. They gave her all the needed medicines and tests were also done. Four years ago, my husband fell down from a tree and for 6 months he was lying on the bed without any movement. Then through medicines and treatment he can move now. We are living in 5 cents of land and when we heard about my daughter’s condition we felt very sad. Then we heard about the different services provided by Amma. So when a camp was conducted in our school, through them we got more information about the hospital.

We came to the Amrita hospital and approached the patient service department. The kind and courteous staffs of this hospital provided us all the facilities and help which we would not get in other hospitals. The doctors of the other hospitals told that the operation would cost Rs.1,75,000/-, but here it costs only Rs.1,00,000/-. We went to the Ashram in Chenganassery and gave the application for treatment help. The staffs of the patient service department came to our house and understood our difficulty. They granted us Rs.1,07,000/- and we only had to pay the expenses for the medicine. Amma is considered to be the mother of all mankind and we pray for Amma and for Her blessings always. We are very much greatful to each and every one of the hospital staff for the help and service they gave us. Amma is serving mankind without any discrimination and prejudice. AIMS is also serving the whole mankind by providing medicines, love and services without any prejudice.

Regards,
Usha Raju (mother)
